Our tour was hosted by Carin and Dr. Stephan van Vuuren of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. This tour started with Carin and Stephan taking friends and family back to their homeland of South African to tour the country and visit friends and family. The tours have grown to include South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia but they still include activities with Carin and Stephan's friends and family.

The Namibia guide for the tour is George Katanga. George is a native of Namibia and has been guiding in Namibia for over 20 years. He speaks English, Afrikaner as well as several of the native languages of Namibia.
George is an outstanding guide that provided us with a wealth of information about the history, customs, economy and issues of Namibia as he guided us around the country with a steady and skillful hand.
